Cellist and Educator


Italian-American Cellist, Adam Broce is known for his work in symphonic and chamber music circles. Having been involved in many ensembles across the Pacific Northwest, Adam is an active performer and educator with professional experience with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, Eugene Ballet Orchestra (Orchestra Next), The Eugene Opera, The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, The Oregon Oratorio Ensemble, The University of Oregon Philharmonia, and more.

Adam Broce is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance where he was a student of renowned pedagogue, Steven Pologe. There, he earned a Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance (Summa Cum Laude) and the award for Outstanding Undergraduate Performer in the Strings. A recipient of the John Stark Evans and the Fulton Family Scholarships at the University of Oregon, Adam is a respected up-and-coming musician. Currently based in Boston, MA- he is currently studying at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with respected pedagogue and performer, Rhonda Rider.

Featured on two professionally released albums, Adam is excited for more collaborative work in Boston with the incredible culture and environment of new music and music of the classical canon in Massachusetts.

When away from the cello, Adam is an amateur vocalist, having toured with the award-winning and world-renowned University of Oregon Chamber Choir. He also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and cooking new and interesting foods.
