Having grown up in Oregon and studied in Boston, Adam Broce is a well known performer across the United States. He has performed with professional ensembles including the Eugene Symphony, Orchestra NEXT, the Eugene Opera, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, and Emmanuel Music. Alongside performing, Adam teaches cello to students of all ages in the Boston area. A student of Rhonda Rider and Steven Pologe, Adam was awarded with honors from his undergraduate school as the “Outstanding Undergraduate Performer in Strings” upon his graduation. In addition to his study of contemporary cellos, Adam is an experienced baroque performer, having studied with critically acclaimed musicologists Marc Vanscheeuwijck, Margaret “Peggy” Gries, John Butt, Ryan Turner, and Pamela Dellal. Also an experienced choral singer, Adam is an alumnus of the award-winning University of Oregon Chamber Choir, directed by Dr. Sharon J. Paul. Outside of music, Adam enjoys cooking, brewing coffee, reading, and exploring the city of Boston.
